A celeb for Jesus

This is the world’s portrayal of a celeb: (Wikipedia)
A celebrity (often referred to as a celeb in popular culture) is a person who is famously recognized in a society or culture.
Generally speaking, a celebrity is someone who gets media attention and most frequently has an extroverted personality. There are a wide range of ways people can become celebrities, from their profession, appearances in the mass media, beauty or even by complete accident or infamy. Instant celebrity is the term that is used when someone becomes a celebrity in a very short period of time. In some places, someone that somehow achieves a small amount of transient fame through hype or mass media, is stereotyped as a B-grade celebrity. Often the stereotype extends to someone that falls short of mainstream or persistent fame but seeks to extend or exploit it. In the 21st Century, the insatiable public fascination for celebrities and appetite for celebrity gossip has seen the rise of the gossip columnist, tabloid, paparazzi and celebrity blogging.
The rise of international celebrities in acting and popular music is due in large part to the massive scope and scale of the media industries, enabling celebrities to be viewed more often and in more places.
My ‘celeb’ status:
“May I never boast except in the cross of our Lord Jesus Christ, through which the world has been crucified to me, and I to the world.” << Galatians 6:14 >>…so whatever I do is not for my own glory, but for the glory of God. I have been on a morning breakfast show, few radio interviews and some news paper articles. However, on and in all of these interviews I have mentioned the name of Jesus. So whatever I have achieved and have done thus far was only because of His grace. So all glory goes to Him, Jesus. My prayer is that people will see the great work that Jesus has done in and through my life. Matthew 5:16 (NIV), “In the same way, let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven”.
During the course of this week I will be taking you on a journey and showing you various interviews that I have done in the last three years since committing my life to Christ.
Stay tuned and hope you enjoy🙂
